1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. This policy covers the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) used on www.nextepay.com and app.nextepay.com, under the responsibility of Nextep Solutions SRL (CBE 0807.560.929).

Essential cookies are placed without consent, as the service cannot operate without them. All other cookies are placed only with your agreement, expressed via the consent banner displayed on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link at the bottom of the page; withdrawing is as easy as accepting. Continuing to browse without making a choice does not constitute consent.
3. Cookies used
- Essential cookies — session and authentication for the Nextepay space, security (fraud prevention, anti-CSRF, load balancing), storage of your consent choice. They cannot be disabled;
- Preference cookies — language and country, display choices (for example monthly or annual billing on the pricing page);
- Audience-measurement cookies — visit statistics, placed only with your consent.

4. What we do not do
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no resale of browsing data.
5. Lifespan
Session cookies expire when the browser is closed. Other cookies have a maximum lifespan of 13 months, and audience-measurement data is retained for a maximum of 25 months, in line with the recommendations of the data protection authorities. Your consent choice is requested again at the latest every 6 months if you refused, and whenever the cookies used change substantially.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in to the Nextepay space; refusing the other cookies does not degrade access to the website.
